Our Story
Alma's was born from a simple conviction: the best moments happen when people slow down. We opened our doors on Ella T Grasso Boulevard to create a space where the coffee is honest, the food is fresh, and the atmosphere invites you to linger.
By day, we're your neighborhood café — espresso, pour-over, pastries from local bakers, and sandwiches made with ingredients we actually recognize. By night, the same space transforms into a quiet bar with a thoughtfully curated drink list that doesn't take itself too seriously.
Whether you're grabbing a morning coffee before work, meeting a friend for lunch, or settling in with a cocktail after dark, Alma's is yours.
The Space
We designed Alma's to feel like a living room that happens to serve excellent coffee and drinks. High ceilings, warm wood, and plenty of natural light during the day. In the evening, the lighting softens and the energy shifts — same comfortable chairs, different conversation.
